After the successful completion of Purnayoga by Sri Aurobindo, Supramental light from the “SathyaJeeviya Loka” (Supramental World) descended at the playground of Ashram school on the 29th of Feb 1956. Only The Mother and two others witnessed the descent. The others were unconscious and missed the greatest opportunity. Only the body of Sri Aurobindo was capable of retaining the Supramental Light for some time on the Earth, hence he decided to leave the physical body and attained Samadhi on Dec.5th 1950. In LIFE DIVINE, Bhagwan Sri Aurobindo has said that creation on Earth has the “Brahman” completely involved in it, which means that the infinite “Brahman” has become the finite in the process of creation. In the process of evolution, the finite “Brahman” should evolve to the infinite “Absolute”. This evolution is possible only in man because he is the only being in the creation which seek “GOD” as he has the “PSYCHIC BEING” . Therefore the finite man is capable of becoming the infinite if he has the "Grace of The Mother"

The creation is spread throughout the Universe, Earth is only a small portion of it. Universe has soul, which is called the Universal Soul. This Universal Soul is capable of growth and progress. The next level is Paramatma. The Universal Soul is incapable of reaching the Paramatma. If at all it wants to reach Paramatma it can do so only through the Jeevatma ---- the individual.
